The season for giving is here and we are all set for our Tucson Rotary Club Salvation Army Bell Ringing Day where you can give just a few hours of your time on Saturday, December 7th. We have changed it up a little, setting the times in 2 and 3-hour increments from 9am until 5pm.
The Salvation Army has informed us that two other local service clubs, branches of the Kiwanis and Lions Clubs, have laid down the gauntlet and asked for a competition. How this will all layout I’m not sure but of course, we had to agree to it. I’ll fill everyone in on the details when I get them, however, bottom line - we’ve got to line up our donations and ring those bells until the clappers wear out because we are going to bring in the most dollars for the Salvation Army!
Please go online, www.tucsonrotary.org and look down the left side to Upcoming Events and click to register for your Bell Ringing slot.
