RCOT Past President's Dinner

On Saturday May 5,^, 2018 Jim and Connie Murphy and Roger and Jeri Harwell hosted a Rotary Club of Tucson Past Presidents dinner and evening at the Harwell’s lovely home.  Twenty one Past Presidents and a number of spouses attended the Cinco De Mayo fiesta. Mexican food & beer were enjoyed while a special collection of Roger’s Mexican music played in the background. A unique white sangria, concocted by Jeri, using Marianne’s recipe was one of the “hits” of the evening. Unfortunately, Marianne was out of town and could not judge the quality, but everyone who imbibed attested to its terrific flavor and potency.  Bob Shaff provided videos of four past presidents that have been recorded talking about the special events that happened during their presidency and offering advice for future presidents.  The four selected for the evening were Don Shropshire, Bob Shaff, Roger Harwell and Jim Murphy.  The project was the idea of past president John McCaleb and Bob and Rick Rose have worked on it for a number of years.  There was great fellowship and tales of the past and Jim Lubinski was on his hunt for car show ticket sale Captains.
