Rotary President DOT KRET called the meeting to order at 12:00 PM from the Tucson Convention Center. The lunch featured delicious salad, tasty salmon and chicken along with all kinds of extras. As always TCC banquet staff were attentive to the hungry Rotarians.
 
The opening of the meeting featured the “America The Beautiful” with the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag lead by LEAH RANALLI, along with the return of piano master musician KHRIS DODGE.   
 
MOMENT OF SILENCE was shared by President, DOT KRET, for Rotarian member, KIOTE ERICKSON, who passed away on Sunday, 3/8.    He was a member of our club since 1/2024.
 
A heartwarming Inspiration was given by MITCH PISIK.
 
An enthusiastic guest list was shared by Sargeant at Arms, DAN KALM.
 
The “COOKIE MONSTER/SPONSOR” this week was MITCH PISIK, Pisik Business Consulting.  Thanks for the Cookies, MITCH!
 
Today’s program was introduced by CAMI EVANS from Pima County.  Dr. Lisa Chamberlain, Chair - Department of Pediatrics – UA and Steele Children’s Research Center - Director, gave a interesting and informative discussion about Children’s Health entitled, “Together for Children’s Health: Teach, Heal, and how the UA is at the top of their game on this subject.  The topic was so interesting that the program ran into overtime, but the Rotarians didn’t mind.

JOE PENNINGTON (3/2), BOB MORKEN (3/28) and DON ROLLINGS (3/28).  Happy Birthday to you gentlemen!
 
A PAUL HARRIS PRESENTATION was given by JOE DANISZEWSKI to Rotarian, GREG DURNAN.  Congratulations GREG and thank you for your donations to Rotary International.
 
The raffle followed with enthusiasm by DAN KALM, as no one won the big pot during the 50/50 raffle.

Time was running out, but a robust number of Announcements kept the meeting going into overtime, but since the meeting program was so relevant, no one seemed to mind (this time).
