How do I Get Credit for Selling Car Show Tickets? – Let Me Count the Ways
 
Our 2023 Car Show ticket goal is 32,000 tickets .. We’ve sold 5149 tickets so far which is only 16% of goal.
We’ve got 8 weeks until the Car Show, but only 5 meetings left to bring in the money or unsold tickets. (Deadline: Oct. 18) If you can’t get to a meeting, drop off your money envelopes at the office.
  1. Ads are on TV and on the radio and in the papers. Ask your contacts to buy tickets.
  2. You can buy and/or sell Classics Club tickets ($65) which get people into the VIP tent which includes lunch and a VIP parking pass and a special prize drawing.
  3. You can use the email template to send requests to people and you’ll get credited if they buy. Ask Jeanne Zetah if you’d like to know who credited you last year or if you need help with this.
  4. You can comment on or share Facebook posts on the TucsonClassicsCarShow Facebook page or create your own post on Facebook or other social media, asking them to credit you.
  5. You can ask another Rotary Club or nonprofit to be a ticket-selling partner and they’ll do the selling and you get part of the credit. Check with Roger Harwell if the group has been asked already and to get the agreement they’ll need to sign.
  6. You can sell tickets at an event in Oct. See Dave White’s July 18th email for links to sign up for SAHBA Fall Show (Oct. 6-8) or Tucson Meet Yourself (Oct. 13-15).
  7. You can make a donation or ask for donations if people don’t want tickets.
  8. You can buy your tickets (check, cash, or charge online) and give away to family and friends or let us know if you want them donated to Davis-Monthan personnel.
  9. Give the Car Show business cards (with your name on the back) to those who might buy but want to charge tickets.
