Handbags of Hope Service Project

Handbags of Hope Service Project.  Inspire, uplift, and encourage women in treatment as they transition into a new phase in their lives! Rotarians are invited to donate toiletry items which will be tucked inside new or gently used women’s handbags. Each woman will be gifted a handbag brimming with small soaps, lotion, shampoo, toothbrushes, sunscreen, lip balm, and hygiene products during this winter holiday season. Hotel-sized or small items will best fit into the handbags. The Haven helps women heal from substance use disorders, stay connected with their families, and give them hope for their futures. Many of their clients come to The Haven with very limited belongings. By gifting them a handbag with toiletries and hygiene products, women have the basic necessities to start their new lives.
