Greetings Fellow Rotarians! We are just a little over a month away from the 18th Annual Tucson Classics Car Show and need your help. We are behind our goal for ticket sales, but there is time to get out there and sell tickets so we can EXCEED our beneficiaries expectations and do what we as Rotarians do best, put Service Above Self.
Let’s take a moment to remember the “Why” of the Car Show; 2.6 Million Dollars raised by this amazing RCOT event for the past 17 years given back to our community; helping with literacy, workforce development, creating amazing opportunities for students at JTED and many, many other worthy organizations. We are now putting our fundraising efforts towards the Pima Community College Foundation’s PIMA START program (Success through Advance Reskilling & Training), Wright Flight, and Sister Jose’s Women’s Center. We have committed to these organizations, and I don’t know about you but I would like for us to knock it out of the park.
You can’t sell your tickets if you don’t ask your friends, family, doctors, dentist, AC Tech, plumber or anyone you do business with regularly. $10 is an easy ask and it gets them a chance to win and a wonderful day out, checking out some FANTASTIC cars, eating some good food and enjoying a Tucson Tradition that The Rotary Club of Tucson started.
So get out there and put Service Above Self, and sell those tickets.
Personally, I hope you are one of the first 50 Rotarians who sells over 100 tickets and gets to go to my parents beautiful home where we will have some delicious barbecue and yummy desserts with adult beverages, trust me it is worth it to get out there and get your hustle on.
