Tour the New Pima CC Automotive Center

Wednesday, July 12th at 12:00PM

Tour of the new Pima Community College state of the art automotive center. Located at the Pima downtown campus at Speedway & Stone. This will be an event you need to sign up for on ClubRunner and signups are on the webiste www.tucsonrotary.org under Upcoming Events. Be sure to register your guests. Hosted by Marcy Euler marcy@pimafoundation.org. Plan to meet at the campus at 12:00PM for the tour and there will be a no host food truck there for the event for those that are able to stay for lunch and continued fellowship.

The Rotary Club of Tucson's Whiskey Fellowship will be gathering once again on August 3rd. 'Brett Stein' brett.stein@nm.com coordinates these outings. Here are the details:

The Third Whiskey Fellowship:

Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: Dan Kalm's Abode

Tucson, AZ

$20 plus Bring a Bottle of Whiskey

$50 and you don't bring a Bottle of Whiskey

Dinner and Festive Fellowship will be in abundance.

Death Marchers on Mt. Lemmon

Saturday was a great day at the top of Mount Lemmon! Joined by Chuck Sawyer as well as friends of Rotary, Bill & Melody Mesch and Julie Kennedy, we tackled a very challenging hike. Descending over 1,800 vertical feet on Lemon Rock trail, steady ascent in Wilderness of Rocks to the Saddle and finally climbing the remainder of the uphill portion on Upper Aspen trail. Although 110 degrees on the valley floor below, we enjoyed a much cooler day with highs only reaching 80 degrees. Welcome Melody and Julie to the exclusive club of Death Marchers!

Save the date of Saturday, August 5 for our next hiking adventure.
