Saturday was a great day at the top of Mount Lemmon! Joined by Chuck Sawyer as well as friends of Rotary, Bill & Melody Mesch and Julie Kennedy, we tackled a very challenging hike. Descending over 1,800 vertical feet on Lemon Rock trail, steady ascent in Wilderness of Rocks to the Saddle and finally climbing the remainder of the uphill portion on Upper Aspen trail. Although 110 degrees on the valley floor below, we enjoyed a much cooler day with highs only reaching 80 degrees.
