The Ladies Events Around Town gathering at the Lodge on the Desert was lively, spirited, and brimming with excitement—especially when two new prospective members arrived unexpectedly. Allow us to introduce Bobby-Jo and Darlene. They were genuinely engaged in the lively table conversations and are thoughtfully considering joining our club.
Although they were a bit uncertain about the proper attire for the luncheon, the ladies welcomed them warmly, offering thoughtful guidance on dressing appropriately for such occasions, applying makeup with a light touch, and most importantly, carrying themselves with the quiet confidence and grace that define our club.
By the close of the luncheon, Bobby-Jo and Darlene appeared far more comfortable—and even inspired. The sparkle in their eyes suggested that this vibrant afternoon may well mark the beginning of their journey with us, the “remarkable” Rotary Club of Tucson!
