Welcome to the final meeting of the 2022/2023 year. A new tradition started last year by past president Mark Irvin to have the final meeting for fun and fellowship. We will be doing an “open mic” again this year. Those that want to have the opportunity to have one minute at the microphone should reach out to Khris Dodge to schedule their minute, khris.dodge@gmail.com.Last year members were charge $100 for a minute that went into the incoming (Margaret Higgins) president’s discretionary fund to be spent for various charities other than the beneficiaries of our car show. This year the fee is optional and those that are willing and able to contribute can determine any amount they wish. Just let Khris know when you sign up.
Your minute in the sun can be whatever you like. A “Happy Jackson” announcement, a fun story you wish to share or a roast of our outgoing president. There will be additional opportunities to mix and mingle during the meeting with enhanced ways to get to know other members better. We hope you will make time to attend this meeting and plan to have some fun with your fellow Rotarians.
