PRESIDENT KURTIS rang the bell to start off our meeting and quickly recognized JIM WOOD and the Scum I mean Sundevils win, no gloating allowed. He then invited new member CAROL SAYLER up to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and “God Bless America” accompanied by KHRIS DODGE on the piano.
Cards were circulated for member FRANK DAHL for a speedy recovery from the heart attack he suffered. And the club shared a moment of silence for the tragic passing of DOT KRET’S son and DAVID LEX’s brother, Nathan Lex. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Today our inspiration was from MITCH PISIK, "Believe in the Miraculous”.

ASSISTANT DISTRICT GOVERNOR ANN HUBER introduced today’s program featuring DISTRICT GOVERNOR SUE ARCHIBALD. SUE talked about changes to Rotary International; yearly themes will now last for five years instead of one; it’s about the marketing and growing ROTARY. They are also changing goal setting and award submissions for the clubs. In our zone, ZONE 26, is focusing on growing membership. In our district we are focusing on Google Marketing. In the District: shout out to JEANNE ZETAH for the new Interact club at JTED!! The ROTARACT club at the UA is very active! There was a Mexican American grant exchange in Mexico where our project in Senegal was recognized; we are still working to get the grant fully funded. We have an exchange annually and next year it will be in Yuma over Halloween. The district is working really hard on upcoming leadership training.Next October there will be the annual cleft palette project in Hermosillo; participate if you can. It is a life-changing experience. DG SUE then asked members of RCOT when they became Rotarians. It
