PRESIDENT KURTIS started off his first meeting as the RCOT President armed with a THOR sized gavel; introducing new member LISA STANTON who led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and reciting the 4-Way Test.
 
Today our Inspiration was from JOE. Who? JOE D. The Magic of Rotary is our inspiration.
 
SAA KHRIS DODGE introduced us to our guests.
 
PAST PRESIDENT BRUCE JACOBS introduced today’s program featuring “hard-wired introvert” PRESIDENT KURTIS DAWSON who had some theme music issues. Apparently, he can’t channel Darth Vader, but he is able to do it his way…. With a crowd of Kurtis lookalikes, he kicked off his Rotary year. Comedian I mean PRESIDENT KURT(IS), spoke of his love for his Rotarian family. He then began prioritizing his goals for the year including bribing members with Sasha’s famous chocolate chip cookies. Wilbur the Wildcat joined KURTIS and Sasha at the International Conference and took lots of selfies. PRESIDENT KURTIS’ GOALS include: Grow club membership, increase member engagement and participation, FUN, increase giving more time, more talent, more treasure, second Wednesday organize get togethers out in the community, Red Badge selfies- make new members feel welcome, be respectful of TIME and get ready to be fined (especially you MITCH PISIK)!!  Aspiring chef (PRESIDENT KURTIS) is going to host Rotarians at his home, or yours with a fancy dinner, going to the highest bidder.  Congratulations to CLIFF BOWMAN!
 
We celebrated four birthdays today: JIM LUBINSKI (7/2), DAVE WHITE (7/6), DIANA CANNON (7/13), and BRUCE JACOBS (7/19). HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you all!!!

We are making progress but really need to SELL, SELL, SELL to meet our goal of 30,000 tickets! Help us make the most we can for our beneficiaries and get an opportunity to win a gift certificate or qualify for a fun Cookout with the HOFFMANS.
