Updates:PAT LENNAN: 80+ and still works out 4-6 times a week until an in-the-driveway mishap with his newly refurbished bicycle resulted in a broken coccyx. He is recovering at home.
Liz McMahon: The good news is her brain tumor was benign. The less good news, it had ossified, so they couldn’t remove it all. After a series of hospital and rehab stays, she’s home now.
MICHELLE HATCH: This past March, her 10-year old son, Caleb, died suddenly. This has been devastating for her and her family; who have started a GoFundMe page to raise funds to support children who want to play sports, something that was very important to Caleb.

The presentation by Jannie Cox and Edmund Marquez, board members of Rio Nuevo, was highly informative. After an explanation of what Rio Nuevo is and how it is funded, Jannie and Edmund presented descriptions of the many projects undertaken by Rio Nuevo and their impact on Tucson. The list was impressive, including new hotels, businesses, restaurants, renovations to all of the Convention Center, Sunshine Mile, and more ... all of which improve the quality of life in our community and provide a basis for hopefully a quicker rebound from the economic impacts of the current pandemic.Our virtual guests were introduced. We want to thank all those watching these virtual meetings.
PAUL HALLUMS offered a remembrance of Bill Gilkinson, an RCOT past president, Honorary Member and former TPD chief, who died in January at age 95.
