PRESIDENT KURTIS rang the bell to get our meeting started. He then invited new member RICKY HUNLEY up to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and “God Bless America” acapella style.
PRESIDENT KURTIS let us know that member STEVE OCHOA was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma, cards were sent around.
Today we had a lovely inspiration from AMY MORIN.
Secret Service member SAA KHRIS DODGE introduced us to our guests, there were quite a few. I hope we have a lot of new members in this group.
Member DIANA MADARAS introduced us to our impressive keynote speaker today, Frank Figliuzzi, former assistant FBI Director, author and Senior National Security Analyst NBC News “Seeking Security in an Unstable World” he also promotes DIANA MADARAS’ art while he is on live TV. He spoke of his time in Washington being a “designated survivor”. And covered current national and international threats in which we all are designated survivors. He shared that people, firms, agencies and nations that are based on a shared system of core values are more likely to succeed and endure. Those core values are: Code, Conservancy, Clarity, Consequences, Compassion, Credibility and Consistency. He went on to share some amazing stories citing some of the core values he shared. He also assured us that despite these divided times, we as a nation will survive and thrive as we have in the past.
We celebrated some birthdays today: JOE PENNINGTON (3/1), LARRY ADAMSON (3/17), DOT KRET (3/21) and DON ROLLINGS (3/28) Happy birthday to this impressive crew!

CHARLOTTE HARRIS also presented two Paul Harris Awards to; DIANA MADARAS and PHIL MOOBERRY. Congratulations to you two!!
SAA KHRIS DODGE announced the winner of the raffle, it was a guest, congrats on the $105!! And come back soon:) He also fined MARCY EULER for a recent article about her and her amazing work for the Pima Foundation in the Arizona Daily Star. And another fine for our Co-Secret Service Agent BRITTANY BATTLE.

Wilbur has been traveling again: He is in Zimbabwe doing Rotary Service Projects with JIM ENGEL and his wife Lynn. He also made it to OshKosh WI with PHIL and NANCY GUTT to the world’s largest air show. And, he turned up at the Tucson Festival of Books with NANCY STOCKTON! Wow, this guy has a full calendar.

Another Happy Jackson for ANDRES ESPINOZA with the Salvation Army, they are celebrating “A Decade of Hope” on April 5 from 11-3 at the Hospitality House.
And last but not least: CHUCK SAWYER had a Happy Jackson of the happiest sort, welcoming his newest grandchild, congratulations!! And, they sold their business Cartridge World.
