On Saturday, February 16th a small group from our hiking committee scaled the heights of Wasson Peak in Tucson Mountain Park.  Martha and I were joined by regular hiking partners Aimee Graves and her husband Mike.  The overall trip covered just over 8 miles and 1,800 vertical feet on the King Canyon, Sweetwater, Sendero Esperanza and Gould Mine trails.  We enjoyed spectacular views of the Catalinas and Tucson on the way up and the view overlooking Marana on the way down was almost like a completely different hike.  Highly recommended for those that have not made this trip and what a great day!

See you on the trails!
