Joined by fellow Rotarian, Don Riegger we set out to hike the Bug Spring Trail to the Green Mountain picnic area.  Yes, we were tempting fate, disregarding the weather forecast of 25% chance of rain around 12PM.   Yes, I scoffed at the prediction made by the young man at LeBuzz that the rain was going to start in the Catalina's at 9AM.  Just before 9AM as the rain started only 1.2 miles into the hike, Don and I quickly and correctly chose to cut today's hike short returning to the car only partially saturated.  Watch for this hike to appear again on the calendar for Spring or Fall and save the date for our next trek; Brown Mountain Loop on Saturday, December 7th.

See you on the trails!
