Also, he will briefly examine the dynamics of health care policy in Washington D.C.
Chuck Bassett ~ Biography
As vice president of government relations and public policy for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ), Chuck Bassett is responsible for formulating the organization’s public policy and all local, state and federal government relations. He serves as the organization’s contact for all legislators, government officials, community leaders and the media regarding legislative issues.
Prior to joining BCBSAZ in 2000, Chuck was an insurance regulatory attorney for a Phoenix law firm. He has also served as Rules Attorney and Ethics Counsel for the Arizona House of Representatives.
Chuck is on the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry board of directors and the Arizona Chamber Foundation board.
Chuck received a law degree and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona.
