Final TREE PLANTING Work Project next Saturday, April 28th

If you have been wanting to get in on the fun of planting a tree, but have not had a chance, this is your last opportunity!  We have only need to plant 14 more trees to meet President Cliff’s goal of 250 trees this year!

We will be meeting at Udall Park (change of location), 7200 E. Tanque Verde Rd., from 8:00-10:00 am.  We will be working with other Rotary Clubs from Tucson (Catalina, Presidio) and will be joined by Mayor Rothschild and the new Director of Parks and Recreation from the City for a brief dedication ceremony.

We will be working with our partner, Tucson Clean and Beautiful, and their arborists and tree tenders will teach you how to plant trees like a pro! All you need to do is show up. Please bring along a refillable water bottle, wear a sun hat and close-toed shoes. They will provide everything you need: tools, gloves, drinking water and refreshments. We guarantee a fun time and you'll leave knowing you left the world a better place. Help us Plant the Future!

Let’s have a great turnout for this final event!  If you can join us April 28th, Please sign-up online or call/email Chuck Sawyer at csawyer2004@comcast.net or 520-780-2828 with questions.
