Rotarians—get ready for round two! Our next Rotary Social Mixer is happening Wednesday, October 29th, and we’re heading back to The District Bites & Brew for another fun evening of fellowship and connection.
After such a great time at our first visit in August, we couldn’t resist returning to this lively neighborhood favorite. The District’s inviting atmosphere, great menu, and friendly service make it the perfect place to relax and reconnect midweek.
Come enjoy good food, great company, and plenty of Rotary camaraderie as we mix, mingle, and share in the spirit of friendship that makes our club so special.
On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, the Rotary Club of Tucson once again transformed The Gregory School grounds into a paradise for car lovers during the 19th Annual Tucson Classics Car Show. More than 400 spectacular classic and collector cars gleamed under the Arizona sun, each one polished to perfection and admired by enthusiastic attendees.
From roaring engines to nostalgic chrome details, every corner of the event celebrated automotive artistry and community spirit. Guests enjoyed delicious bites from local food trucks, browsed unique vendor booths, and grooved to lively tunes that kept the atmosphere buzzing all day long.
The moment everyone was waiting for came with the grand prize drawing—a 2025 C8 Corvette Stingray Coupe 1LT or $40,000 in cash! Excitement filled the air as tickets were drawn and dreams revved into reality.
It was a day of sunshine, smiles, and shared passion—all in support of local charities and the Rotary Club of Tucson’s commitment to making a difference in our community.

The Rotary Wine Fellowship gathered on Thursday, October 23rd, for an evening of camaraderie, fine wine, and flavorful bites at El Corral Restaurant. Attendees enjoyed sampling a variety of exceptional California wines, each thoughtfully paired with delicious appetizers that perfectly complemented the tasting experience.
A big thank-you goes out to El Corral for their warm hospitality and to our Fellowship hosts, Marcy Euler and Debbie Sheppard, for organizing another delightful and engaging event. It was a wonderful opportunity for Rotarians and guests to relax, connect, and raise a glass to good company and great wine!
On Saturday, October 25th, 35 Rotarians—joined by family members, guests, and students from Edge High School Interact—rolled up their sleeves at the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank for a rewarding morning of service. Together, they packed food, shared laughter, and embodied the Rotary spirit of “Service Above Self.”
A special shout-out goes to the 13 Rotarians who were ready to serve but couldn’t be accommodated due to a temporary shortage of food to sort—your willingness to help is truly appreciated!

Sometimes the best Rotary gatherings are the unexpected ones — and Wednesday, October 22nd proved it! An impromptu Events Around Town (EATS) lunch at Bashful Bandit BBQ brought 17 Rotarians together for delicious barbecue, lively conversation, and plenty of laughter.
The casual get-together featured tender brisket, smoky pulled pork, classic sides, and the kind of fellowship that makes every Rotary gathering memorable.
EATS lunches remind us that Rotary is about more than just events — it’s about friendship, community, and sharing good times around the table.
Rotary’s generosity helped lift young dreams sky-high once again! Thanks to funds from the Rotary Club of Tucson, Wright Flight hosted another successful flight day this past Saturday—giving a proud group of students the chance to take to the skies and celebrate their hard work.
A heartfelt thank-you from Wright Flight’s Robin Stoddard and the students who soared, all made possible through the continued support of our Rotary community.
Just a reminder of how important it is to follow up with your member prospect. Check in to see how they enjoyed the Rotary luncheon and the mission of Rotary.
Remember, if you bring a prospect to a meeting, inform the Rotary office and their lunch is paid for by the Club.
The Rotary Club of Tucson Cycling Fellowship will start up once again. The dates are November 8th and November 15th. The Ride starts 8 AM at the St Philips Plaza Campbell and River on the South side near the REN coffee shop. We will ride the loop going West. The ride is for all riders of any ability and the pace and distance is entirely up to the rider. This ride is meant to be a fun training ride in preparation for the El Tour de Tucson. Riders should wear Rotary jerseys if possible.
Please note that the November 9th hike will be on a Sunday, to accommodate, the numerous events & activities already scheduled leading into the Thanksgiving holiday. For this adventure, we will be giving “thanks” for one of the beautiful trails on the front of the Catalina range with a return visit to Pima Canyon after a few years, not on our schedule. Beginning from the Iris O. Dewhirst Trailhead the hike ascends from the Foothills neighborhood quickly leaving metropolitan Tucson behind as we will ascend the south face of Pusch ridge following the usually dry streambed until we reach the first dam. This hike is moderate in difficulty with a total distance of just over 6 miles and 800 vertical feet. Hike time will be advised as we get closer to the date and with the trailhead being in-town, offering sufficient parking, We will meet at the Iris O. Dewhirst Trailhead.
Great news, Rotarians! Our next Tucson Clean and Beautiful Adopt-A-Road event is coming up on Sunday, November 16th. We’ll meet at 8:15 AM at the former Fiesta Lanes (now Pinz), located at 501 W. River Rd.
Be sure to wear a hat, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and gloves. We’ll provide bags, grabbers, and safety vests. Bring your Rotary spirit and a little morning energy — together we’ll help keep Tucson looking great!
The Rotary Club of Tucson members will participate in the El Tour de Tucson on Saturday, November 22, 2025, raising funds for Rotary International’s PolioPlus program. This premier cycling event features routes from 32 to 102 miles, all starting and finishing at the Tucson Convention Center.
Local Rotarians will ride as part of the "Ride to End Polio" team. Donations to support these riders are encouraged.
Community members can support the effort by donating to riders or joining the ride. Every dollar helps bring the world closer to being polio-free.
