Final President's Letter ~ Jennifer Hoffman
Hello Rotarians,

So this is it… I find it hard to believe that my year as the Rotary Club of Tucson’s 99th President is ending. What an amazing year it has been, our Centennial Year! And while I wasn’t able to accomplish a lot of my goals due to the pandemic, I feel that we have had a tremendous year as a club.

We finalized our Five Year Strategic Plan. We had a successful TCCS Car Show Raffle and Auction.  Thanks to the efforts of Cliff Bowman and the TCCS leadership we raised over $123,000.00 for JTED and Make Way for Books despite the Car Show itself being cancelled. We invested in technology for streaming our club meetings with Switcher Studios and we even have our own YouTube Channel! We had an indoor Ride to End Polio. I ran 1000 miles! We contributed to a Mobile Cancer Screening bus in India, had several projects; Handbags of Hope, Salvation Army Bell Ringing and work days at the Triangle Y Camp as well as Camp Lawton. And of course after over 30 years of meeting at the DoubleTree, we have moved our weekly meeting to the Tucson Convention Center!

Despite the fact that we were in the middle of a Pandemic, our club was able to meet regularly thanks to the team at Hacienda del Sol and the efforts of our AV team and our meetings streaming live. We were actually one of the few clubs in the nation to meet regularly.

We have been presented with challenges over the course of the past 12 months, and because of the amazing efforts and dedication of the members of The Rotary Club of Tucson, we bested them and are starting our next 100 years of service stronger than ever!

And now we are looking towards the next year with Mark Irvin at the helm, our Centennial Celebration and that AMAZING 2021 C 8 Corvette Stingray as our raffle car with the proceeds benefiting JTED.  How much better can it get?

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to all of you, for your faith, support and kindness over the course of the past year. I will forever be humbled at the honor you granted me by allowing me to lead this 100 year old amazing Rotary Club.

Yours in Rotary,
President Jen

Change of Administration Event
The Change of Administration event on Saturday evening was a huge success.  President Jen passed the gavel to incoming President Mark Irvin.  A live performance by Katherine Byrnes and the band, which included our very own Khris Dodge, had the place rocking with members dancing to the tunes.  Congratulations to Jen for a wonderful Rotary year and we welcome in Mark to take the helm for our 2021-22 Centennial Year.  Here's a look at some of the evening festivities:
