The last meeting of our 101st President MARK IRVIN was a new format and perhaps a new tradition. We walked into the meeting greeted by the fantastic sounds of The Hot Club of Tucson, a wonderful three-piece band who entertained us during the entire meeting.
MARK IRVIN started the last meeting off by introducing new member RICH KENNEY who led us in the pledge of allegiance and “God Bless America.” Here is where we had another treat as The Darling and Snook Family singers led us in this song. What a treat!
MITCH PISIK, did what he does best and inspired us…”We are Family”.
And we all shared a moment of silence for the People of Ukraine. We granted well wished to DAVID LOVITT'S wife, Gail.
We then were treated to a lovely buffet of fish and barbecue. I wonder if PRESIDENT MARK had anything to do with the fish we enjoyed??
Sergeant at Arms KHRIS DODGE introduced our guests and had our meeting Sponsor, another new member, Paul Bojan of CHASSE Building Team, come up to share a few thoughts. Thank you to PAUL AND CHASSE for your support!
Members who purchased a minute of speaking time to roast/honor/sing to PRESIDENT MARK came up to share their thoughts:
KURTIS DAWSON, CHUCK SAWYER, BOB LOGAN (he brought a real fish-um yuck), DIANA MADARAS (who spoke through KHRIS DODGE), incoming President BRUCE JACOBS, JEANNE ZETAH (be a host family to RYE and sell your car show tickets!) RICK ROSE, CHASSE, CHASSE, CHASSE, MITCH PISIK, DAVID LOVITT, JONI CONDIT, JEN the piano and MIKE ANDERSON (who gifted a singing fish to Mark).
President MARK then ended the meeting with a champagne toast!
Here is to you MARK and a tremendously successful year, CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done.
