Due to a family emergency, our scheduled program, Jim Cantrell, Vector Space Systems, is unable to present to the club on Wednesday.  In his place, we are delighted to have our very own Club member, Colonel Kent Laughbaum present to us.  His program is entitled "Raytheon Support to the American Warrior".  Thank you Kent!
 
Colonel Kent Laughbaum (USAF, ret.) works at Raytheon Missile Systems in the U.S. national security arena, with focus on advanced warfighting concepts and future weapons.
Kent served as an Air Force fighter pilot for 25 years, and was privileged to command the 355th Fighter Wing at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base from 2006 until 2008.   He has more than 5,000 hours flying fighters, including over 330 hours in combat over Iraq and Afghanistan.
 
He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and holds a post graduate degree from the United States Naval War College. 
 
Kent maintains numerous civic and professional responsibilities including service as the Arizona Public Media Board Chairman, Vice President of the 355th Fighter Association, President of the Texas A&M University Club for Southern Arizona, and member of the Rotary Club of Tucson.
 
Kent is married to Mary Laughbaum, who works as the Director of Admission and Community Outreach at the Gregory School.  They have two married daughters, Christen and Rachel.
